Tamara Ja is practitioner of all eight limbs of Chinese Medicine: Acupuncture, Herbology, Moxibustion, Astrology, Meditation, Feng Shui, Martial Arts/Qi Gong, Diet-Nutrition, and Tui Na Massage. She has studied Daoism, Buddhism, Confucianism, Tibetan Buddhism with various Daoist priests and Buddhist teachers for nearly 30 years. She has been a practitioner of Indigenous Amazonian Shamanism for nearly 20 years, having apprenticed extensively in the Indigenous Shipibo-Conibo lineage, as well as trained in the Quechua-Lamista tradition. She is also an Astrologer, specializing in Zǐ Wēi Dǒu Shù 紫微斗數, Polestar Astrology, and the Tōng Shū 通書, Chinese Almanac Astrology.
Tamara is the founder of Ani Bima Circle, a non-profit tax-exempt 501(c)(3) Church and spiritual community dedicated to the preservation, study, and practice of Animistic Shamanism, with deep roots in the Wisdom Traditions of Indigenous Amazonian Shamanism and East Asian Animism.
